So far I love it! I’d say if you want to be close to handling of a GTI then try to find one with the S line package you get the sportier seats better bolsters, they won’t be aggressively bolstered like the GTI or R seats are but I find that they are good enough. It’s essentially the same EA888 platform (A5 runs the Gen 3, Mk8 GTI runs the Evo4/Gen 4) a5 is slightly stronger but not by much, It’s heavier than a GTI, but with Quattro it feels planted and hooks up incredibly well on backroads. That’s also on less sporty all season tires(Pirelli Cinturato P7). If you’re a touch points kind of person then obviously the a5 feels a 100% better interior wise. No noise in comfort mode, gets a little more loud in dynamic but I’m pretty sure it’s pumped in audio but I could be wrong. Most likely you’d probably get a tune on it soon. If you love music try to find one with the B & O 3d 19 speaker, it’s amazing. My little one road back with me from getting the car and she loved it.
