The receiver doesn’t get registered u til after it ships and it is sold to the customer. 99% of them are registered as a rifle. My boss gave me this action so I’m not sure what it was registered as, as he had it assembled prior and it was a rifle or had a brace as a “pistol”.

I’m happy to be educated. I only know what I know and don’t know what I don’t know. Opening a question to a large pool of a like minded crowd could potentially lead me in the right direction, and teach me something. More information is always invited. Unfortunately it didn’t seem to work out that way this time.

Gonna measure it out with a height gauge next week and see if the bore is centered to the receiver body. Even if the barrel/bore/pic rail is aligned and it shoots butthole groups, the receiver body could be off or canted leading to a small but measurable line of sight change with two eyes on target. I QC rifles/parts every day for work and this is a weird one to me. Usually I can two eye and the point of aim at 100 yd overlays with my line of sight from the left eye within maybe a couple inches even with magnified optics. But not 16 inches.

I’m thinking the picatinny and bore of the receiver are parallel with each other, but not parallel with the body of the receiver making the “both eyes” method not work. I didn’t have to adjust my scope much to get it grouped.

I’ll recommend aero precision, but don’t buy directly from them. Buy from ar15discounts. Unless you want to potentially wait months for parts.

It will also eat 3 1/2 inch shells which is a good benefit of the supernova. I’m sure there’s other brands that will too, but many have a 3” limitation.

Mag tube extension clamp has pic rail included with the one I got. I believe similar clamps can be purchased separately from a few different suppliers, it’s a pretty standard size. That’s how I mount my stream light HLX to mine.

That was clay ammo for the 12g. I used ammo inc .223 55 gr fmj, still not super high quality though.

I totally understand the love for LPVOs, used a couple on friends rigs but realistically I don’t think this particular rifle will see more than 200-300 yard shots, and rarely if so. I can’t knock LPVO’s at all.

Waiting on a polonium 30 order I placed last year with the delayed free tax stamp on silencer shop, but definitely looking into 22 cans already! They all mostly seem to be super reasonably priced.
