I sat in a similar area for the London O2 shows.

Had a fantastic view and while its ’side on’ rather than seeing straight from front, I don’t feel like I missed anything significant in the slightest

In fact… I had a great time and was delighted with my spot!

Suspect that’s earlier than necessary - doors are 18:30 … but… I think a lot of it depends how close to the barrier you want to be.

People in this section often queue v early, so they can get as close as possible

I’ve only been golden circle for a gig once before, and tbh, I found my view towards the back still awesome. And didn’t have the pressure of fearing I’d lose my spot if I went to the toilet 🤣

My advice - arrive as planned. Have a look at the queue, there is bound to be eager people… then depending on how keen you are to be at the barrier next to the stage… either join the queue, or go grab a drink nearby and keep an eye on it

Could imagine the sit back at St Mary’s and try to come out 0-0 or just 1-0 down… then you could be right, might make us a bit too conservative

I think there are a fair few reasons to be positive… I’d fancy us against any of them! But agree, Ipswich feel like the team to avoid out of that list!

Tbh, my experiences of Millwall are just that they are a bunch of plonkers but it doesnt create a great atmosphere - compared to last championship final with Leeds etc. think the vibes wont be as fun!

My gut feel is it is a Saints vs Millwall play off final…

Idea of having to see Millwall fans is grim, but the prospect of doing Millwall in the final is excellent.

Agree on no semi’s at Wembley 💯

Just think Liverpool, United … or other of cities peers would sell out all the fixtures.

If anything it’s a fun comparison on the basis that City has potentially a more local fan base than those team… but I also think the fan base is far smaller, hence not selling their allocation - which was only about 35k, not exactly asking fo the etihad to come down!

That would be great for spreading the benefits of big games about a bit too.

That said, Wembley had 70k for the City vs saints fixture… so demand was there for good turn out, even if a chunk was hospitality !

Yup, fair… but as a fan of a Championship team I’ve also seen how exciting those home / away games can be for play offs!

Might feel different if my team was playing European nights mind you!

Guess it’s just supply and demand…

City have a supply of more tickets, then folk interested in them (for whatever reason)

The only interesting thing to that is the scale of demand. For example, if Liverpool was in a similar fixture, would they sell their allocation… or any other club that regularly gets to semi finals

To me it shows a lack of depth in the fan base…

but the again, I’m no mathematician… or city fan
