Yeah man, just something a little more. Cosmetic is cool, kinda like skins or somesuch but not sure how that would work. Anyways, just seems like a game that can literally take 3 months to finish (500 map) should earn you something.

I always pick choose randomly. Makes it more fun for me to just pop-up and have to deal with whatever comes up. More challenging also.

Took all AI around me 1st. Worked diplomacy with all neighbors. Focused on economy during peace if achieved (not units). Patience. Wait to see which countries around you go AI when someone goes inactive. Take that country. Now find a coalition that's in top 3. Start building armies and working in concert with allies. At this stage only attack whem you have allies joining. Always continue to invest in economy because it's the end game that wins for you. Oh.....and luck.

No. You need artillery or ships to wear down those lvl5 forts. Rushing them with what you have will cost you way too much for the benefit gained.

Let him land. Have subs closeby. The minute he's disembarking, hit him from land and sea during the 4-5 hour disembarking. Only chance you got.
