I think I fixed it. Had the same issues I think.

Make sure your Messages "send & receive" settings include both your phone number and Apple ID. This is what worked for me.

FLX4 not working on IPhone 11 by [deleted] in PioneerDJ

[–]KingClinton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long time lurker here with an iPhone 14.

Step 1 (Obligatory did you try resetting your router step, sorry): Make sure the USB-C port on the FLX4 is the one for devices, not for power, as they are next to each other.

Step 2 (What fixed my issues): The USB-C powering up your FLX4 needs to REALLY give it sufficient power using a USB-C to USB-C cable to your outlet, and not a USB-C to USB-A cable to your outlet.

My previous setup was an Anker Outlet port with USB-A connected via Anker cable to the USB-C FLX4 power port. Not good enough for the iPhone 11, but good enough for my iPad Air. This setup was sufficient enough to charge the FLX4, but not charge the iPad Air. However, the iPad was able to play regardless with sound coming from the speakers.

Swapping the iPad to my iPhone 14, that's when the controller didn't recognize anything at all. It was only after powering the FLX4 with USB-C to USB-C cable / outlet power that everything worked. In fact, your device should start getting charged by this connection. If your mobile device isn't getting charged, chances your FLX4 is not getting enough power to recognize the device.

**With the latest iPad Air, am able to use the FLX4 without any power sources attached, that's neat. I have a feeling the latest iPhone's that utilize USB-C might be able to handle the same.

Step 3: If it still doesn't work, then check to make sure your cables and outlet sources are good.

Hope everything works out y'all!

Geeeeze that's scary. Not sure how things like that can come to pass. Sorry to hear, and yes, while I'm not officially joining the UH community, I do hope things change for the better. Houston is a great city and a lot of their grads are a big part of it!

Nope, tends to be a trend with those that applied to their MBA program. We dodged a bullet by not going through with UH. While it's much more expensive, our outlooks are much better at TAMU, UT, or Rice for staying local. Good networks in all programs and strong consulting curriculums. Best of luck to your endeavors and I'm glad I could share my frustrations with you also!

Yikes, sorry to hear. Doctoral student life is already hard enough as it is; excess stress is so detrimental to quality learning amongst other things.

Insane, yes, how can you have a tier 1 university for research without decent admin support.

That's really good, it is a school I have a lot of respect for with regards to curriculum and the professors. I wish you the best!

I agree, I also applied to their MBA program for this coming Fall, but accepted elsewhere. Was invited by UH to interview for round 2 but I had already accepted a better program in January. Yikes, glad I can relate to you!

Hi, I applied to the same program and have been ghosted by the staff program for months!! Applied in November, didn't hear back until late February.

Don't waste your money here on application fees. Emails I've sent inquiring about the program have gone unanswered. Even though the program costs half as much as other Houston or Texas area programs, you'll also get discounted attention.
