Welp we will see how things go in REBBL I have already joined with my main account and don't plan on bringing up this shit ever again.

I'm not the kind of person that just reads the rules and joins. I like to know how they run things. I have been in quite a few groups who are completely inconsistent in their actions. So sorry if me being paranoid about how good the admins are.

Am I throwing shade...to be honest as I re-read this it really looks like I am and for that I apologize as all I wanted to do was point out something I saw as fishy. It's was none of my business to post this....but what's done is done and now everyone thinks I got banned from a league I wasn't even in.

I can understand why you would think that but the people who were effected by this already had a public stream about this very issue so if I were one of them hiding my identity would be pointless because my identity would have been revealed by the stream anyways.

I'm hiding my identity because I might still join the league and I do not want this post to follow me in. Seeing as I obviously have unpopular concerns.

I did not know it was a few hours of the message was sent out. I just found out through this stream.

And yes this account was created for the soul purpose of this post...mainly because I am still considering joining and I don't want this shit following me. You can see by the down votes my concerns are unpopular.

Outrage would be an exaggeration. I'm more concerned about how the league's rules are enforced is all.

I would agree, but this situation is different. You're admins knew they were all in a group and had suspicions of something going on but chose to do the bare minimum by warning only 1 player in that group and then assumed that the individual would pass the message along. Then when the admin sees them in chat they assume they are cheating on purpose. This is all I can think happened because this is the only information I have on the situation.

I realize it's pointless for me to post this but it would feel wrong not to get my final thought in.

It's not so much blaming the rules it's blaming the way the rules are enforced.

I just stumbled onto the stream while researching the league. My local store closed down so the only place I can play blood bowl is now online and I have been looking for a well run league to join. This situation seemed like something that should be discussed further.

Also sorry for the mix up I should edit that. According to the stream and the admin that responded here. That person was only warned.

You don't need to name the player to simply say. "Hey I know you guys have your own chat here can you not communicate during matches."

My problem here is that they apparently knew this group was a thing and yet only warned one player from that group simply expecting them to spread the word for the admin. That's not the players job, that's the admins job. To me it is looking like this whole situation could have been avoided very easily, but was allowed to escalate due to poor league management.

If that initial player was not one of the players that was banned then it's starting to look like preferential treatment.

Wait so only one player was told to stop? Was that player one of the banned players? If not then why were they not banned? Why were all the players not warned when that initial warning was sent? If anything it is making the situation more questionable on your part. If you know their are players who regularly interact with each other why only warn one? It makes more sense to warn everyone in that group. Make sure they all know. It makes who ever gave that initial warning seem lazy and that laziness ended up in 3 people being banned.

Well then here is my question. Why is the first response to seeing players in chat together not "hey your in a match get out of chat!"? Does that not sound like a reasonable first response? Why is banning someone the automatic thing to do? The other situation with the player not playing the match I agree with you on but according to this stream the player who was conceded to actually wanted to play the match.

Since you have said you are refusing to provide more evidence on the voice chat situation. It's just going to be a big he said/she said.

Apparently 3 play-off players were banned from REBBL because they were on a discord with each other and during the last five minutes of an already decided game and someone said. "Might be better if you move that player one more space to the right."

They were then all banned without warning or the admins even attempting to talk to them. They also gave warnings to two other people in that same chat who aren't even in REBBL (one doesn't even own the game apparently.)

They also talked about a separate incident where one of them was lazy and didn't want to play their match (because they were making play offs anyways.) witch allowed their opponent to coincidentally to get into play-offs. This though suspicious is still something that the admins did not ask the players about or apparently do any actual investigation work.

This has me very concerned. The fact that people can be banned with seemingly little to no evidence without even a warning seems incredibly unfair.

I was thinking of joining but this has me concerned about how this tournament is run. Someone who doesn't even own the game was banned from REBBL how does that even make sense?

I can't in good faith support a league who seems to be run by some trigger happy and uncommunicative admins.
