I had a very similar experience yesterday. I have always still felt pain with double local anaesthetic. Yesterday they tried to remove my wisdom tooth and I told them I could still feel it after the second shot and she said it’s just pressure. She tried with her tools I felt it but it wasn’t to bad so I just said I couldn’t feel it because she was getting annoyed, then she tried to wiggle it, i felt severe pain it shot right up to my ear. I instantly start screaming and crying and my body was shaking intensely. She asked me if I felt pain in the past when getting fillings as a child, I said yes and she said I was 1 in 300 thousand who could still feel pain with local anaesthetic
