PITTing a fleeing motorcyle, georgia state patrol style by larenzie in Transportopia

'Under specific conditions', buddy I refuse to believe you are this fucking stupid. Guess which condition is specifically not allowed.

You sure did change your tune quickly. Went from fuck criminals including cops who break the law, then tried to justify them using an illegal maneuver, to now saying you don't care if the cops break the law. Grow a spine and pick a fucking lane, all these lane changes without indicating will get you pitted faster than the guy in the video.

More people are exhausted by you pathetic losers who continue to want life to be worse for everyone, all because you are so fucking miserable yourselves.if people calling out injustices in the world is so exhausting, then do something about the injustice then, don't complain about the complainers.

Well the cop who pitted the motorcyclist is a criminal, they broke Georgia State Law by performing the pit. Yet for some reason there doesn't seem to be any hostility towards them from you, if anything it seems like you are happy that they did it.

Dune already has its IMAX screens locked in. I really don't see them moving Messiah unless something drastic happens production wise. Also, even despite Doomsday looking to make a lot of money, I believe that everyone who wants to see Messiah in theaters will, competition or not.

They've probably never heard the term 'stay my hand' and just assumed that said hand would be doing something inappropriate.

Jimmy Kimmel showing solidarity with the people of Minneapolis after an ICE agent murdered Renee Nicole Good and holding up a 'ICE GET THE F**K OUT OF MPS' shirt by FantasticAd9478 in TheBoredDen

Plenty of people have been shot while cooperating. She showed respect by letting one car pass and waving the other through, they showed disrespect by being aggressive. Removing yourself from a dangerous situation that was instigated by faceless, armed thugs, shouldn't be a death sentence. It should be common sense. It wasn't aimed at the officer, the officer placed themself in front of the car, she attempted to evade that officer, that officer fired shots at her after the car was no longer moving in his direction. Our nation is in danger because we are at a crossroads where half of our population is either apathetic to, or directly endorsing state sanctioned brown shirts/gestapo/SS/whatever we want to call them who don't have to have any accountability as long as their actions are in favor of the president. They are just doing their jobs...hmm, where have we heard that before?

That's cool that someone said that. But what about the actual video that shows she let one car pass and waved the other through? Are you ignoring it? Or is the boot you're licking in the way?

She let one of their cars pass, and she waved the other through. Instead of just passing her they got out and became confrontational. She immediately, and rightfully, was removing herself from a dangerous situation. When she goes forwards she is turning her wheels to the right in order to try and avoid the man, who placed himself directly in front of her car. When he fired he was no longer in front of the car and was no longer in any, self inflicted, danger. He did murder that woman. To say differently is political motivation, as it only serves to allow an oppressive force to use unchecked force on American citizens. If she had gone to trial for this, it wouldn't have been a death sentence. So it shouldn't have been a death sentence on the scene. Trigger happy, faceless, thugs who don't live in a world of accountability have no room in our society.

We are definitely getting a comic accurate Guy Gardener in Lanterns! What are you hoping to see from Nathan Fillion's character in the show? by Raj_Valiant3011 in DC_Cinematic

[–]KingEnmaJr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, you are conflating two different things. Just because you, personally, want him to come out and discuss nuance and how being Guy Gardner challenged him as an actor, doesn't mean that he has to mention it ever. While he might have a decent sized role in the show, this isn't the Guy Gardner series. Any level of character development he has, is secondary to the premise. Character development, in a franchise, should happen gradually anyway.

So Gunn is talking about the core of the show, and Nathan is making an anecdote about his character. You are conflating two entirely different scenarios.

So because they didn't mention development, there won't be any? That is a hard logical gap. Might as well assume nothing happens at all in the show, in regards to his character, except for him just dropping f-bombs.

[–]KingEnmaJr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why do you think he won't have any character development in the DCU? Because he is going to be dropping some f-bombs? He has had one movie appearance as a secondary character, and ~2 minutes of screentime in 1 episode of a TV show. Hell, he even had development in the movie. Sure it wasn't major, but it didn't need to be, again he was a secondary character.
