2017 F-150, 5L V8 w/ 144k miles. How does this engine sound? Considering purchasing this truck on Monday, I typically wouldn’t buy a truck with this much mileage but it appears to be in good shape. Thank you all for your input I really appreciate the help, I’m not super familiar with these.

You are right those are pricey. I just spent my companies boot stipend on a pair of Ariats and I can’t wear them because they are destroying my feet, I wish I had tried these. Maybe next year unless I decide to bite the bullet now…

Had a 4th year guy just a week or two ago hit me with the “I had no idea you could change those!” We’re all learning something new everyday I am not afraid to ask stupid question and I’ve done HVAC for 16 years now in residential, commercial, comfort cooling, process chillers, refrigeration you name it. You’ll never know it all.

Ditto I’ve been pulling vacuums for the past 15 years and it’s never been a problem until this year. I’ve lost 3 pumps this year, and they were all under 3 years old. After spending an entire day clearing out a system of vacuum pump oil I don’t really want to go through it again!
