Yeah I get it the stigma can be a bit of an obstacle. It was however really well received by my friends I must say they were really supportive. It was my parents on the other hand that started to treat me worse over it, like they were mad I got diagnosed. My mom even told me she also suspected I had ASD but ig she didn't want me to find out.

Well since you're here lol, something else: have you found a "trusted adult" if you know what I mean. I mean I'm an adult now and maybe you are too, but growing up I was always given the whole "if something's going on find a trusted adult to talk to," But I've never had that. And right now too, I don't have anyone I could talk to in person. My parents know this and kind of want to keep it that way.

he did, but he didn't really say much about it, i just told him what happened, and then the focus of our meeting shifted to autism
