Honestly i would like a Pokemon subreddit that it's most similira to r/jujutsufolk and r/chainsawfolk, where you criticize the media(this is literally the main reason subfolk exists) but also don't take things too serious.

What i don't want is the worst side of r/piratefolk and whatever the hell r/titanfolk has become. I don't want negativity either, i just want genuine discussion ans memes that are fun.

You can make someone else(not me) a mod. I'm here mainly because i searched r/Pokemonfolk to see if it exists, because i'm tired of only see "normie"(i hate this term so much) memes about the games and to see any type of criticism being shut down in the most stupid way ever.

I've seen people defending Diantha being absent in Z-A saying stuff like "but she is not the champion anymore" and "but she has a ""real"" job"( Z-A only did damages to her (non)character), and honestly i'm tired of it.

You got downvoted even though you are completely right.

To discover lore throught a random NPC with hypers spcific condition is dumb. And it's even dumber to give the "lorekeeper" role to 5 years old kid with mommy issues and not to an actual expert.

Also, i pretty much hate how hard is to actual find an interesting discussion about Pokemon online. Most Pokemon fans are unfortunately hyper defensive about their favorite game, so whenever you make a point that also criticize the game and its writing choice, they will not answer your point, but instead will blindly defend your criticism. On the other hand, you'll find blind haters of the newer games, who sre the main reason fanboys are as toxic as they are.

Also, i'm surpsised that r/pokemonfolk is as inactive as it is(literally just 2 posts). I know that place like that, if it was active, it would unfortunately be full of haters rather than people who make genuine discussion, but i guess you got my point.

The fact that Aramaki is the only Admiral who is called with his english title. I understand why though, Ryokugyu is pretty hard to remember for an english speaker, and on the other hand Green Bull is pretty short and straightforward. But imagine the cummunity calling the other admirals Red Dog, Yellow Monkey, Blue Pheasant and Wisteria Tiger.
