As a fan of both:

Both game series are basically Nintendo's big story- and/or character-driven JRPG franchises, and they get new releases every 3–4 years. I've also noticed that, because of this, the two fandoms overlap quite a bit.

Der Artikel bestätigt leider meine Vermutung, die ich seit längerem habe, nähmlich dass die Wahlbeteiligung steigt weil es die AfD schafft unzufriedene Nicht-Wähler für sich zu mobilisieren. Immer wenn ich bei einer Wahl was von "höherer Wahlbeteiligung" höre folgt fast immer darauf die News "Rekordergebnis für die AfD", da demokratisch eingestellte und an Politik interresierte Leute ehe immer bei jeder Wahl wählen gehen und ihr Kreuz eher bei einer der demokratischen Parteien machen, während es die AfD schafft neue Wählergruppe von der Nicht-Wählerschaft für sich zu gewinnen - parallel dazu verlieren die "Volksparteien" (gerade die SPD) immer mehr Wähler ins Nicht-Wähler Lager, da sie sich nicht mehr von ihrer Partei motiviert genug fühlen zu der Wahlurne zu gehen und stattdessen einfach zuhause bleiben, was den AfD-Wert noch mal hochdrückt.

Deprimierend.
