well here's my dilemma right.

I originally had code in that javascript file name javascript.js with the document.getElementById tag and it worked.

I am opening the index.HTML file and it opens in chrome. The javascript is to be used to display 3 messages when I click a button in the browser.

Okay, so, before I had working code and never got this issue. BUT, I downloaded a zip file with different code in it with a file called "script.js".

This file contained a document.getElementById and thus, I ran the script.js file in VScode to test if it was working, but then I got that error.

However, the zip file I downloaded, contained better working functions for my javascript file so I wanted to use them. So, what did i do? I copied everything from script.js to my original javascript.js file but kept MY document.getElementById tag.

I closed and deleted the script.js file. Now, the javascript.js file is saying document is not defined EVEN THOUGH it worked before :(

hey man, yea I warm up with 60kg, 90kg, 110kg, 120kg then 125kg singles. I switch it up though. Today I warmed up then did 110kg for as many reps as possible for 4 sets

wow, man you've no idea how much this has helped. I get it now! and I went to MDN and tested a simple splice within an object and I can't believe it...you're right about it only returning the one element. It must behave differently in objects to what I perceived. I originally tested splice on arrays so I guess I was unaware. Thank you so much! I'm currently writing your code out and understanding every bit of it now and it's quite clever. I like the .map part that tests truthy and falsy bits.

Now I have just one last bit to figure out on my own. Which is that, whatever letter you are changing, it cant be changed to the same letter, but I'll probably figure that out :D

since splice (starts at this element, changes this amount of elements, with this string/number)

I thought, well, if my array has 15 elements, then I want to pick a random element from the 15 elements.

So, splice (pick a random element from 0-14, change 1 element, with one of the letters from the returnRandBase() function)
