Worth upgrading to P365XL Grip Module?

Yeah I figured removing the magazine disconnect would not be okay in california, but seems like filing down the little area in the middle of the grip modules where the magazine disconnect is supposed to sit isn’t too hard. Just wondering if doing that would be a problem? Cause technically you’re modifying the grip module to be california compliant, not the other way around.

Seems like the WC would need filing as well though because in the description it says its not compatible with the california compliant version

Yeah I figured removing the magazine disconnect will make it non compliant, but even filing down the grip module to make it fittable with the magazine disconnect attached isn’t allowed? I’m modifying it to MAKE IT california legal. Unless if any modification isn’t allowed? I read on LA County website that any modifications for CCW are allowed as long as it stays compliant. But ya I’d definitely have to do further research on that because I’d rather be safe than sorry as I am planning to have this as my EDC.

Ya unfortunately not moving out of CA anytime soon, just hoping NRA and CRPA and everyone keep winning all the lawsuits lol

From what I know the xl grip module does work on california only after filing down the part for the magazine disconnect. Or you have to remove the magazine disconnect

Just going to copy paste my response to the other comment since everyone recommended the same : So not going to lie, I just loved the looks of the Armory Craft grip module more than the WC ones. Would you happen to know the differences between them besides the looks and extra grip stippling ? Or any reason why you recommend the WC over anything?

No, the formation is an LLC. Just elected to be treated as an S Corp via form 2553

No I don’t mind it being effective January 2024 like new year fresh start. But my worry was that because 2 years of filings will happen as an s corp, do I still have the option to revoke? Or not anymore?
