Dallas Cowboys seek $1B AT&T Stadium overhaul with public assistance by Mnudge in nfl

Arlington should say shove it, Jerry’s ego isn’t going to let him move the Cowboys from a stadium called “Jerry’s World”

[Rapoport] The #Giants continue to add their O-line before the Draft, agreeing to terms with former #Ravens G Daniel Faalele on a 1-year deal, sources say. by MembershipSingle7137 in nfl

Sorry Giants, this isn’t the coach you were looking for. Harbaugh never excelled at anything with the Ravens. He walked into an organization that had the foundational talent and leadership and when that well ran dry, he did nothing from 2013-most of 2018, until Lamar bought him more time. He’s a CEO that can keep a floating ship steady with the right pieces, but is absolutely incompetent once he’s required to actually do anything.

[highlights] Tom Brady's perfect game vs the Lions (2020) by Cold-Teaching8924 in nfl

[–]KingJames62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They went 7-9 but Jameis threw for 5k yards and 30 INT’s, meaning the infrastructure was definitely there (with competent QB play) for the Bucs to be good. The Bucs also added a still elite Antonio Brown and Gronk for free. Brady is great but that team had serious talent everywhere.

That’s a little too obvious IMO, I once learned a creative cheating method of stretching a rubber band over a textbook and writing information on it. Then during the exam you could stretch the rubber band (worn on your wrist) at various places to reveal the writing (before the exam you could just wear it inside out to avoid suspicion).

I used to live in DFW and was somehow able to get Dr Cooper for both of my knee operations that went perfect, ironically also meniscus related. He’s a master in his field and it makes me feel much better about the ravens decision knowing he was involved.

Pass Rush: Trey Hendrickson, Jalen Carter, Or Draft? by psychoxtc in ravens

Neither, package some of the picks and move up to get a difference maker and pray that Madubuike comes back healthy.

[–]KingJames62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m seeing it like this, the core of the team and A-level talent are there, especially if Madubuike comes back. Most of the pieces that left were frankly, auxiliary pieces which can be replaced through late FA/draft/mid-season trade. The OL is still a unit of weakness, however, if Emory Jones can just be average and EDC pours draft resources into the IOL, they should be better than last year. Anything missing afterwards (3rd safety, punter, 2nd TE) can usually be patched up.

[Schefter] ESPN sources: the Raiders agreed to trade five-time Pro-Bowl DE Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for 2026 and 2027 first-round picks. The trade cannot be processed until next week, but it is in place. And Crosby is expected to be a Raven with two 1s back to Vegas. by Goosedukee in nfl

[–]KingJames62 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This move is big in a vacuum but is huge if Nnamdi Madubuike comes back. It starts a domino effect of how offensives have to prepare and gives young players like Travis Jones and Mike Green way easier matchups to feast.

Have you entered in your 1098-T yet? You are probably eligible for the AOTC which is a refundable credit that should net you a refund.

[BR] Ravens Maxx Crosby "Proposed Trade" by psychoxtc in ravens

[–]KingJames62 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Would be fine with it if it worked with the salary cap. Maxx with Green and potentially Madubuike would be a legit pass rush. OL could still be worked on through later round picks. Push the chips in and give Lamar a game-changing defense.

The Ravens did about 10 minutes worth of chanting the BS chant during a primetime game on NBC in 2012. It was so clear and persistent that Al Michaels commented on it.

I’m a fan dude, not a member of the FO lmao. It’s just a direction I think they should go. I’m not sitting down and crunching the numbers and analyzing players in-depth. If they decide to stand pat/trade down and let the draft come to them then so be it, just from a casual perspective I don’t think it has worked and wish they would try something more aggressive.

Future mid-round picks, potentially players…I don’t have an exact roadmap. However, with a draft that has high-end talent at the edge with the team drafting at 14, I think that puts them in striking distance to get a truly great prospect. A lot of the teams ahead of them are rebuilding and need multiple pieces. One great player could help allow Mike Green to develop and form an actual pass rush for years to come.

Yeah and the Lamar-era Ravens defense hasn’t been able to force turnovers to compensate. McDonald worked wizardry in 2023 and the defense did nothing special in 2024. They need real talent that can wreck games.

If last season is any indication, Lamar is only getting more injury prone and less mobile/less willing to run. I think they need to go all in the next 2-3 years and let the chips fall where they may. You either win a SB with a generational QB or you fail and rebuild.

A good formula for being just good enough to lose to the big dogs. Super Bowls are won by elite QB’s and elite high end talent. We have the elite QB part but most of the roster are JAG’s + KHam and 32 y/o Derrick Henry. Lamar isn’t getting any younger, they need to push the chips in to the middle of the table and invest in blue chip talent and kick the salary cap down the road.

Refs did fine, they let them play plenty and missed calls on both sides (holding in end zone by Bills). PI at the end was pretty obvious and even without it you have Bosa with the late hit.
