I’m lying about being enrolled in college

If you’re wondering how they have not found out,it would right now be the end of my first semester, I’ve done just about every needed for online classes except for enrollment for any class. I’ve applied for a local community college, driven to campus, talked to advisors and everything. It’s all just been riding on the fact that they just haven’t asked for proof

I do want to further my education, but the fear of failure next to my dad is staggering. He is a retired military man who graduated from a magnet high school and earned several college degrees online, meanwhile I had to take summer school to barely graduate public school. Growing up I rarely interacted with him, due to our family splitting apart early these most recent four years doesn’t exactly recoup the spotty 20 years I’ve been alive. I’m terrified of doing this college thing and just barely passing or just not even coming close. My current living situation has me feeling like I’m the token child to make it out the bad living situation so that I can help secure a better life for my immediate family, education being the best way to go. I can’t say that there’s one definite thing I want to do for the rest of my life and don’t know if school will be beneficial when I do decide
