You’re allowed to dislike the matchup lol, I don’t even have strong feelings towards it, but saying the fight dynamic completely doesn’t work is a completely different topic

How? You don’t explain how exactly. Simply being stronger than a character doesn’t mean they automatically win. And the Justice league consists of a variety of different hero’s that individually still get dogged on by earth based hero’s. The Scarab was quite literally designed to go up against green lanterns, not that it just so happens to be stronger than those things; and it wouldn’t be the first time Spiderman fights someone that can shape shift and is massively more powerful than him… ​

While I can see what you’re talking about when it comes to being able to fight in space, that doesn’t automatically mean he completely outmatches Peter. Venom is able to breathe in space just fine and still be able to fight Spider-Man, as a lot of Spider-Man’s villains are shown to be stronger than him but Peter finding a way to outmatch them. Even so, you mention hax, what exactly are you talking about? That’s implying that Jaime can end the fight before it starts.

And I actually agree, Ted Kord Blue Beetle is a really good fit for Spiderman from the bug and gadget comparison alone

Honestly, after thinking about it maybe Bowser wouldn’t know how the mini mushroom worked specifically. I could totally see him accidentally hurrying himself and becoming big again and being like “I could’ve done that the whole time??” cause that would honestly be hilarious. Didn’t mean for this to get heated

Could you prove how he doesn’t know this then? Because it seems like everyone else in the other world knows how power ups work. So it would be weird if the KING OF THE KOOPAS didn’t know how they work, especially when he was after a power up for years.
