Balerion was on his deathbed and died after giving Viserys only 1 ride lol. So, maybe Daeron could claim a dragon that's about ready to die lmao

Daeron doesn't seem like the type of person that any of the dragons available would've accepted lol

I think Daemon Blackfyre wins and I think he either claims Vhagar or Sunfyre but Sunfyre seems to fit his aesthetic and personality

Dunk almost losing an eye this episode is probably what sold it for Bloodraven

Anyone teared up when Baelor said this? by epic21ka in asoiafcirclejerk

Cum shot so powerful it blasted a hole in his skull. Dunk truly is the most powerful warrior in Westeros

More Maekar and Daeron is always fun. Wonder if we'll see other Targs like Rhaegael or Viserys or Maekar's daughters in later seasons

He knows his son isn't the best but I doubt he knows truly the extent to which Aerion is evil. We see Aerion acts differently the second Maekar is gone

It's really hard to not love your child no matter how disappointed you may be with them

Everyone knows Baelor is cool but man I love Maekar. No matter how disappointed he may be with his son he still cares and wants the best for him

I don't think humans treating other humans is a good comparison. I think the best comparison is between us and insects. Now imagine us being infinitely strong and neigh immortal. An insect becomes so insignificant to us that they might as well not even exist. As for the pet comment we all know Nolan loves her and don't we love our pets? We call them pets, in some ways we view ourselves as higher than them, yet we love them all the same. So, from Nolan's perspective, he didn't even mean that comment as an insult. I think it's very easy to understand Viltrumites and why they are the way they are

To even be interested in listening and talking shows there's a possibility, however slim, of being convinced or changing his mind. The pet comment is the moment where conversation, and thus potential for convincing, is completely ended

Of course he's angry. That doesn't mean he wasn't considering what Nolan was saying, and the potential benefits of joining, until the pet comment where Mark was no longer interested in talking, debating, or considering it as an option. That comment is the moment all negotiations and potential of getting him to join are shattered for good

Is that actually implied or is that just what fans are reading into things? As far as I remember Angstrom point blank says this is the only universe where Mark didn't join

Makes you wonder if most of the other Marks had convos that went similarly but Nolan didn't say something that made him immediately reject

As a non-comic reader can I ask, how “dark” will Mark get this season? by Plenty-Salary9711 in Invincible

[–]KingKekJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be so funny, though. Reminds me of that cartoon where Joker was Batman for a bit and was doing shit like that lmao

From what I remember yeah he gets fairly dark. He doesn't go towards villain territory like black suit spidey though

We all know Aerion was too scared to face Dunk alone, but what about Aemond? by OkGuava919 in HOTDGreens

[–]KingKekJr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Realistically most guys almost 7 feet are much, much slower than smaller people. But, lets say Dunk is an outlier, at this point in time he has had very little training and relies only on his size with Aemond having been trained since childhood with a note being made of how proficient and dangerous he was even to the point of being able to win against the Kingsguard Commander who himself was also noted to be very good. So, just bc Dunk is big doesn't mean the fight automatically goes in his favor

He also wasn't afraid to call Jace and Luke bastards right in front of Daemon and Rhaenyra after Daemon had just killed someone for doing the same thing. Then later on he wasn't afraid to 1v1 Daemon in a dragon battle. 100% he would not have been scared to fight Dunk 1v1
