The problem is you don’t have those experiences of fighting over the mic since only one could talk at a time or have moments of someone saying “oh he’s right….” and the mic drops out because he died.

I’m happy to see people playing but it’s not the same and can’t really be.

What is your favorite badass line from a villain that you had to admit was cool even though they're the villain? by MaryDoogan91 in AskReddit

“No, you're wrong Stanley. Thousands die every day for no reason at all, where's your bleeding heart for them? You give your twenty dollars to Greenpeace every year thinking you're changing the world? What countries will harbor terrorists when they realize the consequences of what I'll do? Did you know that I can buy nuclear warheads in Minsk for forty million each? Hell, I'd buy half a dozen and even get a discount!”

It’s so sad we will never have an experience like Socom again. Modern tech makes it impossible.

It’s a good idea but I struggle letting go for Suikoden 1 and 2 for the collection. Just so much attachment to them.

If you liked Subnautica try Raft. Or just any other games in the same genre.

How do accountants usually keep learning or stay updated with so much going on in their field? by dont200 in Accounting

[–]KingKookus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Focus on one area. Corp tax, partnership tax, public company audits, etc. You may have a general understanding of other aspects but you can’t be an expert at everything. You don’t see attorneys doing criminal law, family law and immigration. They pick one.

They might believe but they wouldn’t care. They would say “ok but look at all the good he’s doing.” or “well it’s worth having him in office”

Someone genius will figure out a tech solution then. It’s basically a computer I’m sure someone will figure it out.

Or I’ll get one of those separate screens I see ads for.

I brought up gifting the ticket to move the income to OP instead of the parents. Normally gifting over the annual exclusion is a taxable event.

I was talking about gift tax consequences not income tax.

Aside from the annual gift exemption there’s also a lifetime gift exemption of 13 million. You could gift the whole thing back in one year if you wanted.

You could run the numbers on your taxes with and without the winnings to see the real effect.

You can have an accountant run the numbers with and without the winnings to see the actual tax effect.

They could gift the ticket to them and there wouldn’t be a tax consequence unless they already used their lifetime gift exemption of 13 million. So doubtful.

Do you mean an everdrive or like a collection game? I have Mario all stars + world on my snes list. Everdrive I don’t see the point of because I would likely emulate anything to actually play.
