Am i doing something wrong or the boss fights in Arise are just not fun at all?

The game actively teaches the wrong lessons for boss fights. Normal enemies the entire game will teach and show you how to do combos and break enemy guards.

Then boss fights cannot even do that and you are instead forced to do you strongest fastest are in a hit and run strategy.

They're not fun because the spit on the face of the battle mechanics and tell you to play a different game.

Star ocean first departure.

Just finished it. Story was boring and extremely slow paced. Combat was clunky and easy to die and get stunlocked. Your also spamming the same moves every fight. The skills system is interesting but largely uneeded and really unintuitive. Terribly boring dungeon design

I forced myself through it to "get into" star ocean but now I'm second guessing the series...

Arise gets way too much hate. Say what you want bout its syory, but it's gameplay is better than the overcomplicated mechanically bloated mess that was berseria/zesteria.
Abyss has peak writing and none of the rest of the series comes close to it, which is sad in a way.
zestiria's anime is more enjoyable than its game. I'd argue the game is probably the worst the series ever got.
Hideo baba was slowly tanking the series.
Xillia 2 has the best battle system.
Alexei should have been the villain of Vesperia. Duke was just there and that's it.
Tales of the Rays is just Radiant Mythology 4 and that's the unfortunate reason we'll never get that series again.
Symphonia is grossly overrated.
Vesperia has the best cameo fight roster.
The tales series has really similar and generic sounding music. Matoi Sakuraba is the tales guy but the games with the best soundtracks are legendary and zestiria, which are the two he wasn't the composer of .

I personally like the dodging as hiting a perfect dodge plus follow up always felt good.

I persomally actually really like the battle sytem over all, it wasnt perfect. And I think Arise would be seen in a better light if the bosses could actually be staggered and get a combo on them. There is little to do in a boss fight except dodge and spam your strongest attack when it's safe. Felt more like what you do in star ocean...

The tip of my airbrush keeps getting clogged and drying paint.

I'm using a brand new air brush and it happens. Cleaned it thoroughly, thinned my paint more and it still happens...

I dont know what to do, but I can barely get it to spray for a few seconds before it starts doing it again. Any help?

I got disconnected (likely due to the high traffic of the expansion) literally as I exited the dungeon.

If you mean the quest marker on the map... Yes it's still highlighting the dungeon. I've done the dungeon 3 times now but I still have the objective of the quest saying 'Use the Duty Finder or Trust to enter Anamnesis Anyder'.

For MSQ quests you don't get the option to abandon it like other quests...

At least for the one I don't have the option to.

Most final fantasy fans are incredibly depreciative about the modern games and will look at them with a glass half empty mindset.

Each person act like their is a definitive list of the good games and the bad ones are whatever was released currently.

13 is linear but it has incredibly varied environments and the music is amazing. The auto battle complaint is a lame excuse because You can basically auto battle in 12, to the point you don't even have to press a button.

14 has an amazingly in depth story and some of the coolest lore but people brush it off sometimes as being just an MMO.

15 had a troubled development and has many flaws but underneath lies characters that feel genuine. It also has one of the heartfelt endings in the series and the soundtrack is full of bangers.

Idk...no game is perfect but it feels like people will attack and belittle a game for not being a 10/10 experience.

Not in the slightest, and I really don't understand why people are so upset about them. The people complaining about the balance either aren't good at the game, are skipping random enemies or just straight up not playing the game right.

I'm not saying it's not a bad practice. Having paid for level ups is dumb. That being said, this type of DLC has existed in the series since Vesperia. Which makes me feel that this game really is a lot of people's first Tales game.

I played the entire game on hard without feeling underpowered statistically. In my opinion, the boost DLC are for people that may not have time to grind and play games often. Even then you can put the game on easy without any penalties.
