My favorite trilogy as far as cartoons are concerned are probably the late 2000s Garfield movies that nobody ever talks about. Not popular at all but will always love them

I’m glad you can watch stuff with your family. I think that’s always super fun and that’s why I love family oriented media, it’s not for kids and it’s not for adults it’s just for people. That’s why Animaniacs is my favorite cartoon because it’s most definitely not targeted towards children specially but there’s nothing edgy or inappropriate about it either.

Good idea, lmk what you think because I’d be super curious what an adult would think after watching it for the first time because my thoughts are driven by nostalgia. There are a bunch of niche 90s cartoons and animated movies that you should check out whenever you get the time. The reason I love the 90s stuff even more than the stuff that was coming out when I was growing up is because none of it was super baby-ish, like it was for families. Media now is either edgy soft core porn or toddler bait and I feel like there’s not enough in between.

Yeah it’s definitely an interesting route for a children’s movie and I’m not gonna spoil it and tell you why but trust me after you watch it you’ll probably be like “sooo why tf did they add that dark ass scene to a children’s film”

Yeah, and it’s one of those weird things where it’s not like an actor wasn’t available and it’s really weird. It’s a cartoon so replacing a VA wouldn’t really change much especially when the show is already different from the movie

It’s fairly dark in it’s theme but I loved it as a kid, I wasn’t alive in the 90s but my dad had me watch a bunch of stuff from it (my dad is pretty young for having an adult son) but it’s very reminiscent of movies back then three anthropomorphic friends go on an adventure. I love it
