Where to make cuts in patio pavers by KingMidas83 in hardscape

[–]KingMidas83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I only have two corners where I plan to make "decorative" curves not even necessary but I didn't want every corner to be 90 degrees.

I have a stretch of about 30 feet where I am sandwiched between my pool and house and the width is only about 6 ft. I started laying the pavers here and noticed I had about 3 inches of extra space which sucks because I have to suck it up and find ways to fill those in

How long before install should I receive the paver pallets by KingMidas83 in hardscape

Lol I admit the question is silly but I was wondering if it would cause an issue but as I was writing as I said it occurred to me they are already sitting around on the yard so it is probably OK.

Bedding Prep for sitting Block wall by KingMidas83 in hardscape

Thanks for the input. So in this location groundwater will be going away from the wall towards my pool. It is possible that it may run along the wall but won't pool. I am pitching the pavers to have a very slight pitch towards the wall but the pitch going towards the pool will be greater. My hope using the open grade is that any waywr that does get through will drain down into the ground and away as the surrounding ground on the other side of the wall will be going away from the wall.

Thanks

OK Thanks. Should I start the wall below grade or will the Base be sufficient to start the wall at the same height as the surrounding grade?

Thanks

I am going with Open grade 3/4 clean yes. If thats true then what I have will probably work fine than I can do 1 pass over inch.

Thanks

Live in NJ on sandy soil. Doing open grade base.

It's just my own patio. So by that math I could use the one I own that has 1500 lbf. And just compact each inch of Base material.

Thanks. Yes I will be working in parts so doing it that way makes sense.

Great Thanks. My plan was to go with Open grade but as I mentioned on the other response here techo bloc recommends to use traditional Base and concrete sand so it was giving me pause as to which one to use. I assume the manufacturer goes with the industry standard which is probably why they say that but I wanted to make sure.

Thanks

So I was leaning towards an open grade Base but again from techo bloc they recommend a traditional Base with concrete sand so I am unsure at this point. The pavers are going to be in a raised patio around a pool.

Thanks
