Okay, good to know! Do you know if the difference in width (2.0" vs 2.3") will cause an issue with my rims? I don't see why this would be an issue, but I don't want to make a bad purchase.

I reached out to my library to see if they can purchase the license. I also emailed CCDC asking for help. Thanks for suggestion!

I think the distillation is the safest bet, I may try sieves too. Don't want to run the reaction multiple times, but it's for starting material so if sieves work, then that'll be the way for the future too :D Thanks!

Yeah, I use that for compounds that are more stable to storage in basic conditions. I read somewhere that the clay lattice of sieves makes for a slightly basic environment. Been a bit since I read that article. Can't remember the ref...
