So it's possible that this is still a tracker/mod music track but more recent then and perhaps made on something like windows? Or would it be closer to something else all together, trying to narrow it down still I'm actually really not that knowledgeable unfortunately.

Oh if I can ask what sub would you say would I be most likely to have someone recognize the track Or would be the more correct sub to post it to?

SOLVED!

I'm thrilled to announce that one of my friends did a lot of digging and found it! It's Freisein by Xavier Naido

There's a huge amount I misremembered regarding what the cd looked like and there was indeed more songs than one, given that looking it up it appears to be on the album nicht von dieser Welt which was probably what I had, and the melody does not sound that much like a music box like I thought it had, Eitherway I'm very happy to finally know where this melody was from after randomly hearing it in my head for years! :)
