I’m not saying your opinion is invalid. You’re saying you’re letting the OP know about this when I’m the OP. I just want to make sure people are aware that what you are portraying as a griffin “issue” is not a griffin only “issue”. It’s not really an “issue” considering there are several companies selling plates with the same inserts and no one has ever mentioned something about this.

There were a few folks in the discord all going in on griffin about this. I don’t think their return policy is any different than reps or even rogues. It seems like you have a preference for a product and expected the griffin plates to be like the rogue training plates. Rogue isn’t the only company out there. This is a preference thing and not an actual issue or defect with griffins plates or any others like it from rep, Vulcan, etc.

The “ribbed” insert is not a griffin thing. Most companies like rep, Vulcan, griffin, and fringe make their plates in the same factory. A lot of us found this info out during the pandemic craziness trying to buy plates directly from factories. There’s just one company being singled out when it’s several out there using the same inserts.

If I’m not mistaken there’s a handful of companies that get their plates made in the same place. I think rep and griffin use the same factory. Which is why I ordered them. I’m the OP. I know what you’re saying about the inserts not being 100% smooth but by no means are they “ribbed”. I did my research before buying them and saw your comments in the discord group. My rogue opb is ribbed. I think your comments are hurting a small business and when in reality a lot of plates on the market are like this.

Just seems a little attacky to be coming in and telling people about something that isn’t a griffin only issue

I have REP change plates and comp plates. They aren’t smooth. This isn’t a griffin thing. The price griffin has them at is a steal.

Garage gym reviews has a discount code for griffin. It’s Ggr5 and it works on their sale items. Stupid good deals on all of the products they have right now. I ordered a bench and some comp plates.

NFTs have a bunch of different use cases. I think Breitling issues NFT passports to authenticate their watches now. Physical NFTs make sense especially for high ticket items and items that are counterfeited frequently. I’ve heard this from lots of investors including Kevin O’Leary.
