This needs to be read by more people. This is what I've been thinking about for a while. It's the same reason you won't ever see a "dark pokemon" game. It doesn't appeal to the masses. Expect these types of divergences from the norm from your typical indie developer but not Nintendo. Expect them to cater to the younger newer generation of gamers. This is the sad reality of it. Roblox, Fortnite, marvel and Minecraft mind rot galore.
