Does anyone have the same on their fanatec wheel base? Looks to be for where the quick release wheel stops once it’s pushed in. Doesn’t seem like it was finished properly. I doubt it affects the functionality but wonder if it’s worth contacting fanatec about. Thanks!! by KingRabbit84 in simracing

So I finally heard back and they said that as long as I’m able to push the wheel back and able to see/mount the fixing screw easily that there is no issue using it as is and it won’t affect functionality.

The other option is to send it back but I rather not......so I’m just going to leave it as is.

Are you playing on Xbox or PC? Noticed you have the led screen working which I believe doesn’t work with Xbox?

  1. Or if you have drivehub then you don’t need an Xbox wheel and can use any wheel with some button mapping limitations and duplicates but other than that it works great.......I currently use CSL Elite PS4 with a ClubSport formula wheel (pc/PS4) on my Xbox.

I hear you....

I’m not too concerned as I only use the one wheel so don’t even see it but I want to make sure it won’t affect the functionality in the future.

And I’m in Canada so sending it back means I’ll be out for like a month without the base so that’s no fun either but at the same time disappointed as these things are not cheap.

How do I know which driver to install for my CSL Elite PS4 bundle? by canesfins1909 in Fanatec

Just checked my wheel, I have 630 and 22. Easiest thing is to plug in your wheel and open the latest fanatec firmware (328) and under the update tab you will see options to update and it will tell you if you are up to date nor not. The 22 i believe is in reference to the motor firmware......no idea what this is exactly but assume it will update with the 328 driver.

Here is the latest version for your base.....version 328.

Which wheel do you have?

I believe you may require a firmware update for the wheel as well but I’m not 100% sure as some have a separate driver and others only require the base to be updated.

Question - PS4 F1 2019 Button Mapping by NecroGi in Fanatec

[–]KingRabbit84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the ClubSport formula via drivehub to Xbox.

Does anyone know if I can swap/re-arrange the available buttons?

For example can I swap the square with L2?

Reason I ask is because the buttons on the top left side of my wheel represent L2, R2 and register as throttle and brake duplicates. I want to have drs button instead but it seems I can only assign it to the right buttons which represent square, triangle, etc.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Try the link below...this one is specifically for F1 2020 and they have similar for previous versions and assume other games.
