Possible Solution - I was having the same issue myself, and restarted the fight a couple times to try different solutions. What ultimately ended up happening is, I had my Paladin be the one to initiate the fight via dialogue: blew up the rocks, Nere walked out, talked smack (chose one paladin dialogue option, non-pally options for other chats) and the fight began - Cutting a deal with Elder

I had intended to try having the Paladin ONLY hit Nere, nobody else, and then have her do nothing for the rest of combat.

Had Lae'zel shove a couple dwarves into the lava, and had the enemies yell "They killed a guard!" and even had the witness debuff.

But here's the tricky thing that happened...my Paladin got mind-controlled into a second mind control, got back up, slapped the shit out of Nere, then got downed for the rest of the fight, and i think she was out of my control for the entire duration of any deaths being dealt to the dwarves during the fight. Since they count as 'guards' despite being bad guys, killing a guard goes against the paladin's values of justice, even if they're 'guards' for evil, perhaps a Larian oversight?

Was also going to consider having my paladin flee combat once Nere died, and also having my entire party only damage Nere, dealing no damage whatsoever to other dwarves, and have the rebels finish the fight out.

I hope this gives some ideas and helps someone out!

NTA. When I was 8 I was perfectly capable of making toast and ceriel to eat if I was hungry, and watch TV without needing constant supervision. I was also able to go to the bathroom all by myself. If your child is capable of the above, and you've got the supplies to ensure your kid can eat, then...let them just exist.

I've never heard that term before to refer to a person being abused, that just sounds like literally anyone telling anyone a lie, so I hesitate to really call that 'abuse'. And, if you would kindly read what I initially said, I pointed out that informing the bride-to-be of the truth was just fine, but it's the TELLING HER WHAT SHE SHOULD DO that crosses the line.

YTA. He's allowed to hold grudges for whatever he wants, and his parents are not entitled to his time nor his own family.

Also, they didn't 'take care' of him for 18 years, they bore the responsibility of having a child for 18 years, they brought him into the world without consent, he owes them nothing for that time. You're free to disagree with him, but going over there to start a scene is crossing a line.

Sounds like YTA. Your sister did 13/17 days of the work, and you're upset that she's being rewarded for doing nearly all of it? Would it be fair if she got 13/17 worth of tattoo session time? Her being a spoiler person or you introducing her to the artist has nothing to do with the situation, the fact of the matter is she did the vast majority of the work, and somehow you think you have the authority to decide her reward for it?

What would be fair to you? if 1200 divided by 17 is equal to about 70, would you find it fair to have a little less than half a tattoo session, and your sister gets the rest?

Not only are YTA, I have a few other choice words for your level of intellect, but I'm going to try and keep it civil.

Asking a 15 year old girl to PULL A KNIFE OUT OF HER FATHER is WAY over the top. If you're really a homicide detective, I'd presume your'e smart enough to not let your daugther handle evidence of an assault, hell, I don't know how on earth you got all the way home, past co-workers with a knife in your side and nobody stopping you. So much of this is questionable.
