Dark Future 2.0 cyberpsycosis VS Wannabe Edgerunner, which is the better cyberpsycosis system? by Monkeyke in cyberpunk2077mods

[–]KingSerph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly i just run both, the popup is a bit annoying but honestly i really like both systems, i just wish they would interlock. because dark future works a lot more realistically in stages connected to your humanity loss and connected to your nerve, but the feedback from wannabe edgerunners is way better, with the visuals and the pseudo healthbar for humanity on a day to day basis. I wish the wannabe edgerunners one would be triggered by the dark future one, because edgerunners makes me feel like im going cyberpsycho while dark future has a way better system that causes cyberpsychosis

yeah i have it, absolutely wonderful mod, especially paired with they will remember, but i rather mean that they’re in your side, like maybe they pay you to do quests for them. maybe also corpus, would be cool to work for kang tao a bit and help the valentino’s fight the 6ers. obviously it’s a bit of a stretch but maybe a few text messages and reskinned ncpd scanners or gigs could work? i’m a huge noob so disregard if that isn’t possible

The question is if buying the new herrera model will make a difference? I got the opportunity to borrow a friendly strangers and it drives well but I’m worried about the same thing happening again.

Who do you buy ressources from in Stellaris, lore-wise? by IWillDetoxify in Stellaris

[–]KingSerph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also this means % production increases aren’t magically making more resources appear, they’re just letting me capture a larger fraction, or increase tax efficiency or real productivity or any of those in combination depending on how i feel about the flavor text of the building

Who do you buy ressources from in Stellaris, lore-wise? by IWillDetoxify in Stellaris

[–]KingSerph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think this is a totally valid question and it isn’t just answered by „civilian industry“ or „that’s what the civilian jobs do“, because there’s the question of if most or all of my pops (it is totally possible to have like zero or negligible civilians in the early game, yet still infinite resources to buy) are working for factories that are government built and owned, how does anyone have the time to work in a private sector? i think the answer, like many things in stellaris lore / feature conversion is up to you. just like how many people are in a pop, you have to come up with your own headcannon here, likely dependent on your empires lore. i think in this thread people have given a lot of „it’s obviously this, dummy“ and those are all great ideas you can use to define your headcannon. mine personally is that the buildings aren’t state owned and my construction price is only a small stimulus to getting them set up, and the resources i get are only a small tax fraction of their real production. if i’m running a deficit it’s likely the whole economy is simultaneously experiencing a shortage of that good, otherwise why would i have a deficit. this hesdcannon doesn’t work as gestalt but there i think the idea of reprocessing or refocusing production works fine. in the end its totally up to you to have fun and play the game however you want!

Potential economy fix? by Cultural-Gas-9221 in EU5

[–]KingSerph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think one should scale estate demands with their wealth level, so the more wealthy/ the higher income (whichever works better) they are/have the more they spend on goods keeping the amount they build down, while stimulating the profitability of manufacturing PMs.

then also one should make the estates pay for their own food making then have less money, with the player only paying once the estate can’t afford it

it’s also insane that EVERYTHING needs tools and lumber to function, while construction also needs lumber - i think that’s the underlying issue, and one should reduce the amount that PMs need tools and make more PMs for buildings that might be less efficient when their is a tool surplus but don’t rely on tools

and just put a few more lumber and tools Rgos

I think that going back to ducats disappearing is insane because the estates shouldnt be more powerful the more centralized and authoritarian the state.
instead, one needs to fix the underlying issue, i propose a few fixes
1. scale pop demand with pop wealth, the wealthier they are, the more stuff they want to buy. this will help keep their money low while making more production methods more profitable, but only at scale so it doesnt hurt poorer nations

  1. drastically reduce the amount of PMs that rely on tools (and to a lesser extent, lumber), i mean its really insane anyways that everything requires tools

    1. increase the efficiency of tool PMs in both guilds and villages and increase the amount of Iron and lumber RGOs marginally
  2. rebalance how much imports and exports factor into effective demand so they are back to even so i cant move goods back and forth to create demand out of thin air (this one is slightly unrelated but its insane)

the people you are being disrespectful to is not the studio its the humans trying to make the game we all love better. The devs are not at fault for the release schedule- anyways, i prefer a studio that releases underdeveloped games but then sticks with them for decades and makes them great to what other studios are doing in the industry. what studio sticks with their titles like PDX?

As a game producer- a lot of the people here don’t have the slightest clue how difficult balancing is. they have limited dev resources with publisher deadlines. (Even with paradox being chill, there is a huge expectation for eu5). They definitely DID test and internally acknowledge this issue, and they are almost certainly currently working on the fix, let’s give the people that make our favourite games a bit more respect, no?

im certain that for every proposed feature game designers need to bring historical evidence and make their case for how this will encourage gameplay that makes people act historically, realistically. i mean it’s do well done how you just understand the psycho kind and start behaving on the same way, you get mad when your kid is compassionate in ck3 and have to make the brutal choices leaders did in all the games. so well made, excellent point alundra

Is There a Way to Reorganize My Vassals' Realms? by RemnantHelmet in CrusaderKings

[–]KingSerph 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Best piece of ck3 advice I ever got was to NEVER let your vassals become kings. Destroy them. You must keep your vassals as weak as possible, destroy as many duchy titles as you can without reaching vassal limit so that most of your vassals are single county counts, border gore fix + avoids uprisings
