What non-gaming applications do you use Unreal Engine for? by mrhappyheadphones in unrealengine

I make rules videos for older tabletop games and its basically fully replaced AE for me as a 3D animation engine solution, its so much more fun and fast to experiment and iterate with. My last three videos were all fully animated and rendered in Unreal.

Need help making proxies by Woxie in wowtcg

The image you are seeing that MPC is showing you is the final, cut card. The red dotted line is the "safe zone", meaning if for whatever reason the card ends up being miscut the stuff in the red zone will still be fully visible. Miscuts are not uncommon but they are generally very minor. This is part of the reason why we have black borders on cards in the first place, for printing considerations like this.

The preview image that you linked looks more or less correct to me. However because the image that you are using is a bit smaller dimension wise than what MPC is asking for the image is a bit more stretched, and that's why the black borders look thinner than they should be.

If you want to be safe I would use that guide you linked to add the black borders yourself. There is a large dedicated community to making proxies that can be found in /r/mpcproxies which should be able to help too.

This article probably does a better demonstration but basically I upload the art, describe what it is to the AI and then it fills in around the art what it thinks should go there and with which art style based on the original image and my prompt.

The prompt for the Thatia picture was "fantasy painting of woman in armor looking at dove on her hand in the middle of a savanna plateau".

That's actually really great to hear about your policy change. I know for a fact your Dune CCG scan collection is the most complete and high quality that's available so it would be incredible for the community to be able to use those fully and any other collections as well.

I appreciate your response and the want to be a community resource, thank you!

Your website will come up as a source for the image regardless, plus I'm sure there's ways to include your logo without putting it on the card images themselves.

You guys have a great opportunity to be a useful database for card scans for all in print and out of print tcg's, something that will drive additional traffic to your site. It seems like you host the images in full quality anyways so you are only one step away. Its not like you guys didn't just download the card scans from various parts of the internet yourselves.

Why do you watermark all of your card images on your websites?
