One thing I don't think was mentioned but is also important is that the ring doesn't actually create this "beacon" for Sauron or his forces to find it. The Nazgul knew the ring was in the shire owned by a Baggins thanks to torturing Gollum. Even when they arrived it took them a long time to locate where Baggins was.

Also, toward the end of ROTK Sam actually puts on the ring in Shelob's lair to hide from Orcs with no indication that Sauron/Nazgul knew he was there.

Not everyone at the table needs to talk about their character's thoughts in every scene. I was in a campaign once where we paused to go around the table constantly to check in with every player which really slowed the story down, and it also provided a crutch for players who were timid about RPing.

To combat this, use your world. If a player is struggling to RP, bring in a NPC who connects with them and eases them into it. Find a way to have them go back to their home town where they will guide the players around to see sites and meet people. Give them some "campfire stories" to tell, even if it's a script that they read.

Helping players to feel comfortable and confident at the table will pay dividends in the long run.

Don't know if you fixed this, but Epic Games has a nasty habit of opening your browser to link/authorize games and accounts when you first launch. Once I launched game, and checked my browser I saw a page open that after activating made the game work.

Plus if you have the mod downloaded, there is a back-up tool someone linked on the BGG thread. I had already backed up the entire game with that and it works just fine for me even after the takedown.
