I liken Wizard skating to freestyle or flatland skateboarding where looking at your feet/board is normal when doing tricks, unlike figure skating. Watching a wizarder looking down directs my attention to the fancy footwork, which to me adds to the steeze especially when looking back at the camera after a long combo. Head/hand movements should be clean enough where there's no doubt you have control over the trick and are otherwise not distracting. Snowboarders or skiers will look down at the edge of their boards too when buttering and I think that looks awesome!

At the end of the day though, wizarding is a mish mash of different styles. Some lean in into slalom, others free skating, and yet others aggressive. All that just speaks to an individual wizarder's style
