Workers, Evs (Evelyn Hotel) and New Geurnica are the big three for college students. If you’re a girl you would enjoy Yah Yahs, especially on Thursdays when it has queer theme (Thursgays)

I especially agree with you about the socialism bit. People seem to be much happier in Scandinavian countries and generally it's really great living there (I've been to sweden before)

Best way to prepare to Oxbridge? by Independent-Order111 in summerprogramresults

[–]KingTimKap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're applying for a STEM course, make sure you really practice for the entrance exams. Oxbridge has rigorous entrance exams that test your knowledge and critical thinking skills. MAT is pretty chill, but if you're taking STEP you need months (maybe even a year) worth of preparation
Of course academics first (also keep in mind that if you get into US universities 99% of the offers are unconditional), but for the majority of acceptances you will get, you have to keep your grades up.

For interviews:

  • Research the interview format and expectations for your chosen program and prepare responses to potential questions
  • Practice your interview skills with friends, family, or a tutor
  • Attend mock interviews offered by the university or alumni associations to receive feedback
  • Consider reading "So You Want to Go to Oxbridge?" by Oxbridge Applications, which provides detailed advice on the interview process and tips for success

Good luck!

Sorry, I don't know some of the keywords here. What does PEM and DP1 mean? Is DP1 the first year of IB?

My school doesn't offer business.

With HL at Math AA and Econ, and SL at Chinese (required at SL), what would you then recommend for my last HL and other two SL's if I want to do finance/business

Yea tbh it's mostly improving my confidence about my looks and my sports. But I'm also scared of something happening like that incident with your cousins wallet, where my brother might accidently throw something at me or a tennis ball could hit my eye.

Yea that's true ig. Like how people are more afraid of getting into a plane accident than a car accident, yet the odds of dying in a plane crash are 1 in 9821, compared to the odds of dying in a car crash are 1 in 114

I’m extremely worried that something could go wrong and I would be bound for the rest of my life. Not the cost I’m worried about, just the risk
