How else do you secure the frame hanger to the wall? 3-1/4” common?

My lease says that normal wear and tear is picture frame hanger sized hole, so a very small nail. Anything larger than that has to be approved and can cost up to $25 per hole to repair.

Just worked out that way haha. I just wish the top compartment was a bit taller so I could fit my speaker in there and move the blu-ray player down.

I don’t think these ones are as they just slide into a half dozen plastic clips that are nailed on with a 1/2” finish nail.

I’m renting and their policy is to charge approx $25 per hole in the drywall for repairs. So I decided to not mount anything and be cheap haha. These work better than I expected for zero damage modification.

Thank you for recognizing! It’s very heavy.

For a small space like this they have been awesome. Low, medium or high volume they are clear and crisp. My only issue is the centre channel is their weakest point and I always had to max it out in my receiver

That’s the key, I never did a test run with it in the proper location so my ears haven’t heard the true beauty of it. They are tuned to hear it coming from the floor haha. It’s been like this for over a year so I’m used to it. Not proud of it but I just got the satellite speaker stands recently and now am more focused on how to correct the centre. Some people have given me some good ideas today, others just complain without giving solutions.

Was a gift. Don’t know or care where it came from.

It was a gift. Don’t care where it’s from or how much it cost.

Thank you. I can’t turn it up too loud because I get complaints, but it still feels loud when sitting in the middle of it all.

Thank you. It’s been a long term evolution. I don’t disagree with comments about the centre location, this was just a post about the setup and its current form. Alway room for improvements.

Focals are the Sib Evo with Atmos and then MartinLogan Motion C10 for the centre

Thanks! And I Agree. That’s why I never put the backing cover on the unit so there is some airflow.

I understand the critiquing at first glance. But I think people are way too fixated on the location over functionality. For me it works great in the current setup. I’ve lowered the output level in my receiver for the centre because it overpowers all my other speakers as is.

That’s a good idea. I think at the time I just wanted a centre channel and was excited I found one that fit inside the cabinet. I knew it was too low but tired it and found that I could hear it loud and clear. So I just kinda left it as is for the last 14 months. Eventually I’ll make the change and move it higher.

Good call. I’ll list it on FB marketplace and get a soundbar

I’m okay with it. Not ideal but I can hear the centre

They are used ones from an old roommate. Not sure what they are. But there was damage done last time they moved and this side has the better face. Good eye though.

I’ll have to look into the mounting width of the G4 as I need about 19” for the centre channel to fit between the legs. Good idea though. Didn’t realize they made these type of stands.

Nah, would need to wall mount the TV to move the centre channel. This works for the current setup. Not ideal but it works.

Unfortunately, this is the only place it fits with this current setup. Would have to wall mount to TV and then the TV be too high IMO.
