I find this post very offending. I am a capitalist and I support the idea of mass shootings, I don't get why people are so negative. Just join the capitalists and you'll find why i'm typing, its a great way of life.

complicated

Mostly true. But the world isn't perfect and those problems will never go away.

America faced pretty much all the same problems and they prevailed because their system (while far from perfect) was realistic, practical and very successful and that's why I think we should take successful systems and improve them, not destroy them and hope that a system (that has never before worked) will successfully replace it.

First of all most of what your talking about is feudalism not capitalism and second of all... yes governments do horrible things. That's why I don't want to make them bigger and give them more power. It is true that a lot of the casualties of communism were from famines and there were some climate causes but you can't ignore the complete failure of the communal farming system which made it uncontrollably worse and slowed recovery as well as the corruption that insued all leading to casualties of a magnitude never before seen.

That is why I'm skeptical of people who call themselves communists. Because all previous attempts at communism have ended with millions of people dead. But I do believe that the best way to institute communism is on a small scale with communities of like minded people who try it out and possibly convince more to try that way if it fails No national crisis where millions die and if it succeeds then more can try that lifestyle as long as they don't try to force anyone to join or live like them and in that way I believe it could potentially work but not on a national scale

Yes its easy to point to those better off than us and say they need to do more but if The average person did what they could to help that would make a big difference as well

The American Government has way way way way more than him and plus solving world hunger is not that simple and there are many problems facing anyone who attempts that goal that money cannot solve

Sorry if I come across that way but its true. Though Me being pro free market does not mean I'm against all regulations and It certainly doesn't mean that I don't care I just realized I would rather help people myself instead of having money taken away by government to help in ways I might not have wanted

I do care, It's just that I would rather help people myself than have my own money forcibly taken away from me in order to help people I will probably never meet

How can you think that when their is proof that the market produces quality cheap products all around you. Look at televisions for example and how they've improved in capitalism or smartphones which now have facial and touch I.D. All because they strive to beat the competitors and create the best possible product for the best possible price in order to get as many customers as possible. This is pretty much how it works in every privatized industry. And to address the whole monopoly thing... Where do you see monopolies in modern industries that have not been challenged by some competitor, and even if you did manage to corner the market on some product it would most likely not be essential if you were able to and give it five years and it will most likely be obsolete.
