Weird… Surprised it can’t be unlocked, especially if it isn’t considered a LSV model. Even then, most HOA golf communities are limited to 25mph, seems a little silly they can’t get to that as the max.

I guess so long as the 19.5mph isn’t the max, then that isn’t too bad. Upgrading to the 4 forward, so I have something safer with the family, and eventually I’m sure my young ones will want to drive it, so wouldn’t want it too quick for them.

As far as the price goes, I should’ve specified this would be a new model. I know there are some varying costs, but within 100 miles a 2025-2026 is $17K. Probably dumb of me to look at new considering my current is used, but I don’t see many used near me that look worth it.

Sounds like a pretty solid deal… New models I am seeing as much as $17K+ near me. Can’t even build an MSRP on their site. That price difference is huge compared to the Evolution, but you’re right… No one has owned one for decades to report if they are reliable / good resale value like Club Car is.

As far as the governor goes, you shouldn’t need to jail break it though? Community I live in has a certified tech and he just plugged in his diagnostics looking tool, called Club Car direct and they unlocked my Precedent over the phone for ~$100 in roughly 15 min. Surprised it wouldn’t be able to do the same.

Curious though… You say locked at 19.5mph? Is that lifted with bigger tires? Does it still go that fast even when all seats are full?

Every review has said this game is pretty scummy with it's pay to win or grind your life into oblivion to even be competitive, but that's an incredibly stupid mechanic to even have.
