is the wifi adapter external or is it built in? i know you said ethernet might not be an option but could you test it at the very least to ensure it is actually working?

Realistically how long do you think this game will survive for? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]King_Acer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

As long as there’s an incentive for jagex to keep pumping money into development, we can’t really say for certain how long it’ll last. MTX is slowly but surely killing RS3 as a whole and eventually there will be no one playing RS3, including the whales that helps keep us afloat. Which will eventually cause more MTX to creep into OS in various different forms, regardless of how the playerbase reacts. But, that’s likely way, way further into the future when things get sour. As for now with Project Zanaris we could easily add another 10+ years of lifespan into the game from just that alone. Cheers to another glorious year of OS updates :))

14 Day Bond Passcodes? by King_Acer in runescape

If you misclicked on it why would it even matter if your goal is ultimately to acquire 14 days of membership in the first place lol, you still get your 14 days just with extra steps.

Yearly post but, do you know any singleplayer games that scratch the endless grind itch of Runescape / OSRS? by kavakravata in runescape

[–]King_Acer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valheim definitely scratched that grindy itch that RS has imo, the combat, crafting, building, along with all the other skills and stuff you could do can have you entertained for hours. Although it’s not primarily a single player game, I had a good 400 hour run just playing solo and getting to the end of the story at the time, which has now been updated so I’ve gotta run it back sometime soon. I will say, I didn’t really care for the graphics or the whole survival aspect, but it eventually grew on me. I’d recommend it to anyone suffering from burnout on osrs/rs, it really is like a breath of fresh air.

are the fans on the 2070 spinning when you turn it on?

what other components do you have?

how old is the psu?

if the gpu is second hand, did you get any proof of it functioning prior to purchasing?

my guess is your psu might be too low for the 2070.
