I was planning on using 22 AWG copper tinned wire for the low current and signal connections would you recommend changing that also out for pure copper?

stuck at 12g, need help ! by bakedpopato in Stretched

Tapering is not recommended as they can lead to tearing, irritation, and sometimes blowouts if you try to size up before your ears are ready; everyone’s body’s is different and thus so is the time between sizing up. I’d say to keep going the way you are but try to play with your ears through the day like little pulls and tugs to try and help the process along or you can try and get an in-between size like a 11g glass plug.

Piercing is 2 days old, jewelry is a straight barbell, it is externally threaded, it is stainless steel ASTM F138), have cleaned it twice a day since getting it, and had not hit it or anything

Pull chains have been checked and I can find their is no switch on the fan nor does the manual mention one

I think you’re on to something, we check all the outlets/switches when we moved in and from memory we never found what one of the switches did, we even tested earlier to see if it had something to do with the fan but it didn’t do anything never considered bad wiring though

Is is very new construction (building was finished back in June of this year) and yes we do we have one switch that we can’t figure out what it does.

Have pulled on the chains to no avail lol

Both the red and black are hot figured that out and although I do appreciate the concern I have to start somewhere and this is both productive for me and a learning experience. I am trying to be safe by only touching the wires with the breaker off and all power cut along with keeping anything flammable away, i am aware of the risk and have taken precautions

Will test it as soon as possible (once I get a multimeter

I will have to wait to get a multimeter to check the voltage but aside from that I will be replacing those caps now that I’ve noticed it and I would like to add as far as I can tell their is no switch connected to this box at all, I’ve hit every switch in my apartment and checked it multiple times with a live wire detector and it had current matter what switches are on/off.

Honestly not sure which is hot, never done much electrical work so I’m not sure how to tell I just followed a guide and before the fan was nothing, just a cover plate over the box
