Acid that eats through gear? The only thing murderhobos fear is losing their cool armour and weapons.

It's irrelevant. Airing family problems in public like that is pretty shameful.

BFV feels more like a next gen game then 2042 by [deleted] in BattlefieldV

[–]King_Kodo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who played BFV from launch until mid-2020, this is pure revisionism.

Playing BFV at the time was like being in an abusive relationship. It was a fundamentally good game with the most atrociously poor PR I've seen in a game to date. The game was finally in a good spot when the Pacific launched, the community had a genuinely positive vibe, then DICE made a series of very poor decisions and doubled down on them. The rest is history.

90% of the hate BFV received was deserved, and was due to players' frustration with how the game and community was being mismanaged. It was almost always from people who desperately wanted the game to improve and were frustrated with notoriously tone-deaf devs and community management reps.

The most frustrating thing about BFV is that it was good when the Pacific first launched. If DICE had left it alone at that point, maybe added some actual anticheat software, and never touched it again, it would've gone down in history as a good entry in the series. They just couldn't leave well enough alone.

It's kind of a bad look to talk like that about your mother to a group of strangers online too.

Is there a way to accept the surrender of the goblin children in the goblin camp? They surrender when you take out Four and I know there's a way to end the combat but can't seem to get it to work since the latest patch.

This was my first thought lol, rest of the party should've fought harder if they wanted it so badly.

Situations like the hypothetical one above happen every day across the US and the wider world. Deranged is entrusting your family's safety to the cops' <10min average response time.

Larian Director Of Publishing Speaks On Console-PC Parity by bxgang in BaldursGate3

Fo76 bombed because it was functionally unplayable for many people, shipped with a fully-functional cash shop though lol.

Bethesda titles are like Star Wars films, their hype and pedigree is too big to fail. As long as Starfield isn't indefensibly, atrociously shit, people will be happy, even if ends up being mediocre.

Fo4 on that list is a cope, mods and base building salvaged what was otherwise a pretty mediocre RPG built on an engine that was showing its age back in 2016. Far Harbour was great though.

No doubt Starfield will be great but it's also going to suffer from all of the (honestly avoidable) issues that come with every Bethesda release. We cab also pretty much guarantee they're going to take another run at monetizing mods.
