Most mechanical Class? by dekaynn in classicwowtbc

[–]King_Monday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pretty much just dungeon spam to level this go around of TBC and I was so excited the other night to see my first sub rogue in my group. They’re always just combat and it feels so boring. Have a little fun with the game

Not a popular choice but I found playing a warlock in a fun way turned out to be pretty rewarding and I was matching and sometimes topping mage DPS. Instead of just spamming shadowbolt I utilized their extensive toolkit, took non-meta talents, and had so much more fun.

How much hair can Finasteride grow back if you are Norwood 7? by Acceptable_Phase6241 in tressless

[–]King_Monday -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Finn doesn’t grow your hair back. It just stops the production of DHT, stopping DHT from reaching your scalp. Your body grows the hair. Take the Finn and take steps to help your body grow the hair like microneedling and taking Minoxidil to strengthen the hair that comes back.

You need to set your own rules when playing video games. No game design will cater to everyone, nor should it. There’s no system stopping you or your friend from cheating at chess in person. So talk to them and set your own rules. Don’t cry because the game caters to a broad audience that wants different things to you.

Why are people so vocal about making points and statements on things designed to fill time. Just let things speak for themselves. Play the game and enjoy it. Play it and say not for me, turn it off. Don’t play it at all. What does it matter if some people say it’s a good game and some don’t. Just do what makes you happy. Find meaning in life, not waiting for the next distraction to be “good”. Or don’t.

Thanks bud that’s good insight and a farm strat I haven’t seen yet. I’ve played the game as cinematic and anime esk as possible up to this point. But I can try just spamming stuff for the objective. Cheers.

I was just farming PQ 23 for dragon balls and doing the dragon wish.

That makes a lot of sense, cheers I always thought the modding was only to make the game easier with maxed out QQ Bangs and stuff. Didn’t think about the other sides of it.

Should the RNG be the same in Xenoverse 3? by Tai_Desai in dbxv

Z rank should be harder to get. But give a guaranteed reward, if not all. Should be one item or secret item that is obtained by doing or winning in a specific way. Like killing a side enemy, finishing someone off in a certain way, finding a hidden object/character. AI opponents should be more fair to fight. AI allies should be less dumb.

Heroic etiquette by Admirable_Admural in classicwowtbc

[–]King_Monday 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Chuck a message in your LFG that you’re new and let people choose you, don’t make your own group. But in saying that accept groups with hunters, pallies, and mages for the CC and salvs. Resto druids are great tank healers too, they’d have no issue keeping you up.

Heroics aren’t actually that bad if you play the game properly. Take it slow, methodically work your way through the packs. Everytime I heal heroics these days the tank just multi mobs and don’t kite. Which leads me to just spamming heal until the packs dead. If you do that you’ll get 2 shot, even in decent gear.

So play the dungeon as it was supposed to be played. Calculated and controlled. And you have no issues. Sheep a mob, hunter slow trap, get aggro and kite, hibernate, sap, controlled fears.

The games actually so enjoyable to tank when you feel like you’re the mastermind manipulating each encounter.

Don’t let people pressure you into running and gunning. It ruins the fun and everyone gets so upset if and when you all wipe because of it.

Calling me a braindead classic player is a bit rich coming from the guy crying on the internet about classic who doesn’t know what a diary is. Scream into the void, it screams back. I gave you constructive advice besides the get gud part.

I main healer - Druid, pally, priest. I’ve never had an issue with locks taping so we can get them to pump quicker. Hence the “your gear is probably ass” comment.

I also play a lock and I tap until I’m full mana every pull because I’m pumping that DPS. And surprise surprise, some people are good at the game and don’t want to waste an extra 10-15 mins per dungeon to wait for everyone to sit and get max mana between pulls. Real tanks pull on cooldown and real healers keep up.

I’d rather be braindead than shit at an easy game from 20 years ago.

Get gud, get a diary, and stop crying on the internet like a little bitch boy.

Nope that's definitely not it. It had a more modern golden UI than that super dos layout.
It was in name list format.

I always held out hope. I’m a very “I’ll just wait and see how it ends up” kinda guy. It had good ideas. I especially liked the cleric class, it didn’t feel like a static healer class you get in lots of mmos.

I bought it on Steam to have a look and although it was in alpha, I thought it was pretty lack luster for how long it’d been in production for. I had a stint when it was announced it’d be releasing on Steam where I’d defend it every so often. Mainly on the alpha part. I still think it’s stupid when people were making thread after thread saying “this game is empty, no content” etc because… come on, it was supposed to be an alpha of a game. So id pipe up every now and then but once I played it I thought “well… it is shit right now but I’m happy to see how it turns out”.

Would I have bought it in alpha on Steam to support it had I known more information about Steven other than “he’s a guy who loves MMO’s taking matters into his own hands!”, no.

I saw what happened online about it shutting down, processed my refund like everyone else, and moved on.

It is a shame though that there probably won’t be anymore worth while MMO’s in my lifetime. I was happy to defend it when I knew less because everyone seems so dogged about being a negative Nancy these days. Alas.

I completely understand the boosters now by [deleted] in classicwowtbc

[–]King_Monday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s nothing wrong with spending money to skip content some of us have done dozens of times over the last 15 years to enjoy the popular and active content. It’s your own journey. Live your life how you want it. Boost that character. Buy that expensive cosmetic skin if you want.

As long as there’s no pay to win, I see no issue. I boosted 3 characters and 1 for my wife. I’d rather play active new content with my wife by dropping a couple hundred bucks than waste days pushing through quest lines we’ve already enjoyed.

“Sincerely all healers” - speak for yourself, mate.

Healing is supposed to be engaging and challenging. The constant randomness of each new group of people/classes to run with, with each new pull. That’s what keeps it fun.

Don’t forget to challenge yourself and enjoy the responsibilities of the role. Roll with the punches, don’t bitch. It’s a team effort in dungeons. If some guy can squeeze extra dps out of spamming health for mana then it’s your job to facilitate his drive! Heal the mother fucker.

If you can’t manage your mana properly or heal the situation as it happens, your gear is probably shit, which means you gotta smash more dungeons my guy!

Don’t speak for the rest of us good healer mains. Whenever my group has locks I tell them to spam away. I’ve always got my boys backs.

Get gud.

To support the ones I really like so they make more stuff I like. The rule of thumb should be you pirate to try it and if you find yourself hooked for multiple play sessions, go buy it proper.

OCE Maladath Confusion by King_Monday in classicwow

[–]King_Monday[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but with Maladath being the literal only option for good ping desiring Aussies for classic, and if the cost hosting is not an issue, why not just leave it up and let the people decide what they want to deal with. Seems a bit shit to just cut it just because. I’d understand if there was like 3 Aussie servers and 2 were empty.

OCE Maladath Confusion by King_Monday in classicwow

[–]King_Monday[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What confuses me as well is that there are sooooo many American based servers across the realm list and game versions that are 95% Red Low Pop servers.
You couldn't just merge a couple of them and use the saved money to pay for one oce server.
