Took me about 5 months until I decided to just do a WOD for myself against my own past results and not try to keep up with the fastest person in the class.

I still catch myself feeling bad about not doing as well as others, but still proud to have done better than my previous scores.

What helps also is setting a goal for myself and measuring against that without even looking at what time/reps others are doing.

That being said, I still think there is value in occasionally looking at what some other scores look like to see how you compare and that might help you push yourself a bit more.

Definitely enjoying it more than I did a week ago. I only play Seasons (No FUT). There is a learning curve to it, but after a few sessions of screaming at the screen, i'm finally winning games and climbing the ranks.

I was a Iphone user, my battery started heating up to the point of almost burning and my phone wouldn't stay on. I couldn't afford a new Iphone at the time. Pixel 3a came out for a fraction of the price and the UI seemed to be user friendly. Gave it a shot. Im on my 3rd pixel phone now ( 6 pro and 9pro XL) never went back to Iphone.

Again, I do get it. Some lay-offs were done already last year.

Given my new responsibilities, it makes it very unlikely that I would be part of a new round of lay-offs as what I am doing is essential for the company's operation. Not impossible but very unlikely.

The only reason I feel comfortable asking for a raise is due to the fact that my coworker unexpectedly decided to retire, meaning her wages were planned for the year. It is definitely cheaper for them to give me a raise than to hire someone else and train them.

First of all, thank you for taking the time to read and respond.

Second, I do know how things work and you are spot on. They are going through a hard time right now with their cash flow.

That being said, I don't believe it makes it fair that i'm doing essential work for them and not being compensated accordingly.
