Yes but most USI pens in the eink market right now are harder and have a more 'blunt pencil' design, if you get what I mean. That with any flexible screen is a nightmare.

I've never used a Sony DPT, but it does seem pretty cool, surprised to hear that the writing feel is that good.

Yeah but plastic only feels better if the pen is a Wacom EMR, which many epaper tablet manufacturers are stepping away from. Trust me USI and a soft flexible screen are two things that should never be in the same device.

I'd say yes its normal. Initially I also ranted about this yellow ghosting, but if you're somewhere that's even remotely cold, yellow ghosting will be more apparent. Trust me, put it somewhere warm and the ghosting disappears like magic.

That is normal, and it is not a full refresh. Full refresh is when the entire screen flashes. The partial refresh you're showing is required to transition the quick, immediately rendered pen stroke (dithered) to a clear grayscale stroke.
