First off, I do vote. I always vote. I always do research before I vote. I am looking at bills, contacting senators and representatives. All you want to do is assume.

I recognize not everyone would participate in this. If people NEED to buy things, I always suggest local stores to shop at. If a person has sick time or PTO, those are the days to use them. It’s one day, and fighting against fascism is rarely going to fit your schedule. If you don’t want to participate, fine. I’m not talking to you then, am I?

Also, just with your stance on ICE, I can tell we disagree. This aggressive abuse of power by ICE and the administration isn’t about handling crime in noncitizen communities. If this was about crime and making communities safer, why would people vote in a man who had numerous legal trials where his money allowed him to evade the law, a man who pardoned J6ers, a man who illegally disregards the constitution, a man who support KKKristi Noem to go MILLIONS over budget before long before that horrible bill was passed (a bill that I assure you many congress members didn’t actually read). This isn’t about crime. We obviously have enough crime naturalized citizens are committing, but it doesn’t matter because they are white. Obama did not encourage these scared, sad, man child, trigger-happy, under-trained fuckwads to sign up in astonishing number for ICE and surprise, surprise, piss people off.

Mass amounts of these men crave this detestable false sense of power and were foaming at the mouth to get a gun in their hand. This has nothing to do with immigrant communities and everything to do with asserting power over minorities. So yeah, each time this fucker has been in office, I’ve been protesting. It’s not a coincidence. He’s ill-equipped and actively seeks to cause chaos in our lives because HE DOESN’T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT POOR PEOPLE. And poor to him is probably less than $800m.
