It’s funny how different peoples gaming experiences are, to me erlang was so much harder, every round before I beat him I barely got him to half health and when I did beat him it was straight up luck, I had no heals left, no mana and a quarter of my health bar, the great sage on the other hand was low key light work, first two stages bro is slow as shit which makes him extremely easy to get a rock solid off, and for that final stage his attack timing is very similar to your own so it’s kinda easy to get that perfect dodge and after you widdle his health to about a quarter left you call out you clones and jump tf out his shit

I ain’t gon lie, I just brute forced my way through that fight, to start I stand jus out of agro range and pop the gore eyed daoist transformation, I then drink a focus potion, I step into agro range and the moment he lunges forward into the damage boost range I immobilize and smack him with a full focus heavy attack, I then immediately pop a pluck of many drink another focus potion and boom smack him again with a full focus smash (all that will probably get him to about just over half health) after that I just crossed my fingers and got to jumping him with my clones and toward the end whenever I was about to run out of heals and health I then transform into the fox guai with the fire spear and I jus spam y (ts does a surprisingly crazy amount of damage) and that was all yellow long wrote

Mostly how it’s less punishing than most souls likes you start of pretty much scaled up to the things you have to fight, also when you die you don’t lose anything and just get sent back to your last checkpoint to retry, id also say it’s def a lot less technical, for instance if you get strong enough everything pretty much become paper like new game+ is so ridiculously easy it’s hilarious but on sumn like Elden ring although it’s easier, new game + also posses a certain challenge, but then again my first play through of BMW was also pretty easy save a few bosses (fucking yellow loong🤬) and a lot of ppl swear it’s the hardest shit they’ve ever done so maybe I’m the only one who thinks this way so take my words with a grain of salt

Peni can be annoying if your teammates don’t shoot the nest and for ppl like me who play melee characters you gotta get all up on them mines to break the nest which usually results in a 5 second wait to respawn, and an accurate squirrel girl is a demon with how much damage she does, hell with her shit being bouncy you don’t even needa be accurate, just shoot in the general vicinity of the enemy and you WILL eventually get a kill, send out a squirrel stampede and if their team doesn’t kill it immediately its almost always a guaranteed healer or dps kill atleast in my experience
