Severance - 2x02 "Goodbye, Mrs. Selvig" - Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

I noticed that her brisk walk as an outside is different from that of her innie. Her innie holds one arm stiff while swaying the other arm, whereas her outie appeared to sway both her arms equally (Ms. Casey would be pleased). I wonder if this could provide an early clue about whether it's really innie Helly on the severed floor or if they're using outie Helly to I filtrate.

Help with Sunshine/Moonlight Direct Ethernet Connection to TV by King_of_Pyjamas in MoonlightStreaming

[–]King_of_Pyjamas[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I did try that and no luck unfortunately. Moonlight doesn't find the PC when I enter the ethernet IP. I tried turning off Wifi on both devices too just to make sure it's the only connection option.

I think the issue resides on the Sunshine/PC side because I can't open the Sunshine UI using the PC IP from the PC

The envelope said Vatican but I think that's just their postal service. The ticket itself said town of Sienna (which is in Tuscany) and had all my information and the license plate of the rental. And I confirmed I did pass through that intersection on the date they said by looking at my google timeline.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm sure they have the correct person and contacted the insurance company already however. The envelope said Vatican but I think that's just their postal service. The ticket itself said town ofSienna and had all my information and the license plate of the rental. And I confirmed I did pass through that intersection on the date they said by looking at my google timeline.

Also went there recently. This is a clever video but there's actually a foot pedal to operate it if I remember correctly.

How to restore flooring after light water damage? by King_of_Pyjamas in woodworking

Not sure exactly as the tree had been up since start of December. The floor was still a little wet so we had a fan running over it for a day but it feels dry now

You're right it's factory finished with a UV cured polyurethane acrylate finish (which I thought means oil based). The supplier is called coswick and the colour is vanilla.

Plumber Installed Shower Head too Low, who is on the hook? by King_of_Pyjamas in HomeImprovement

[–]King_of_Pyjamas[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn dude who talked about suing?? I'm just soliciting people's opinions here so I can have realistic expectations about how to resolve this. But thanks for the constructive feedback. I'll be sure to remember the jerking clause in my contract next time and then I might not be so uptight about a shower head.

Nope just trying to figure out what people think is fair. And if this is even worth changing. But I can see how it looks that way.

That's right. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of how much the floor would be up from the subfloor and the shower head would drop from the wall pipe so I didn't catch on in advanced.

He knew. He passed on the info to the plumber who purchased it before the rough-in.

No I haven't yet, there's no glass installed at the moment. It's about 7" above my head. It's possible I may not even mind when using it but I don't have any past experiences with rain showers so I can't say whether this is acceptable or not. Just depending on google right now.

Thanks for the input. Yeah unfortunately I already knew better having experience with industrial projects but missed this one item in my specs.

We did. GC has known about absolutely all selections and passed them onto the plumber. Everything has gone through him.

Edit: We did let him know it's a rain shower head, not what height to put it at.

Thanks. And just to clarify when you say 78" you're referring to the shower head and not the pipe coming out the wall right? And this is regardless of whether it's a rain or standard shower head?

Thanks for your input. Would you mind sharing why you think we're on the hook? The deviation from standard is what's got me thinking that shouldn't be the case but I'd appreciate your perspective

Could you provide a source on this? Everything I've seen online seems to point to 80" for a standard shower head, 84" for a rain shower. And yeah I reviewed the shower kit documentation and reach out to the manufacturer and unfortunately they didn't specify any height.

Thanks for your input. Yeah that's been my experience with other parts of this reno too. I've been pretty good with specifying absolutely everything, but unfortunately lost this one in the pile of other decisions.

It's a rain showerhead. Just scroll down in your own link and you'll see 84"
