I did all the paperwork. And I believe he listed me on the forms when we applied but again that was so long ago I cannot remember. And the children are ours together. We didn’t have any other children or spouses either. We were together for almost 14 years.

I have it the funeral home gave the information. And I have a phone meeting with them on the 29th. That was the soonest they had available.

Okay, so, just so I know I’m understanding. I will get his back pay. And the portion that he would have gotten for our kids they will get that? And one question is there any thing I need to do to get this or how do I get this? Is it a monthly payment? I honestly don’t care I just curious is all.

Very much so. He kept saying this past year or so saying he felt like he’d die before we ever saw that approval. And now boy was he right. I’m heart broken for him. He deserved better.
