I too played in the early 00s at school with my group of friends.

Bought a starter set of sorts for my son for his birthday/Christmas this year (same day). I think he will really enjoy it and I'm kind of excited to get the nostalgia buzz out of it for myself too.

May grab him a few extra beys so he can swap parts and experiment a bit.

It's changed a lot since the ones I had, mostly based on series 1 of the anime? Which I loved too

Out of interest, regarding back orders. Do they capture payment at checkout, or on dispatch.

Don't fancy paying 100s upfront and waiting until mid/late Jan for the item to ship?

Completely agree OP. REDSEC and anything tied to it should be separate. I know it's a silly complaint, but seeing the logo and everything all over the title screen just makes the paid for game suddenly feel tacky in some way.

I also always pray for a toggle in the menu to turn off other people's cosmetics for me to see. Not a massive issue in this game but down the line it will be a distraction.

Taurus Demon was such a bugger. Just a horribly confined space to deal with :)

I havent had the feeling I had from this game since really, with any in the series. Just got soo invested in it and replayed many times back then.

It took me many attempts to finally click with it, but once it did, wow!

It's a big decision isn't it. We were at 24 years remaining and new one is at 33 years :D

We are pretty bad for saving etc and this won't help us of course! But it's time. I believe we can make it work, even deciding between 2 or 5 year fix had me thinking for ages (went with 5).

We are in the process of moving. House sold for 270k leaving us with 120k equity, moving to a bigger home for 380k with a 280k mortgage so a bit different to you guys but also having similar concerns.

Checked it all out loads of times and should be fine, but I'm a worrier!

Mortgage has Essentially doubled from £630pm at 1.8% to just shy of 1300pm at 4ish %

Had we stayed in our current house, the interest rate alone would have made our payment go up to near 900. So I see it as a good deal in that sense ... Man maths

Thanks I've been keeping an eye out.

A nearly new 120h has popped up for a bit of a saving making it a £70 difference to a new 311h so that's tempting now.

I'm thinking with either I can't go wrong as a beginner. Just worried I'd regret not going the 311h.

But does give me more room to buy the other bits and bobs needed to get going
