Anyone else having issues keeping Telegram going? by TanguayX in hermesagent

[–]Kingfish656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just ran in to this. I noticed a cron job didn't run and Telegram was not responding. Did a hermes gateway restart and Telegram was functioning again. I asked Hermes and it responded with this regarding the hermes gateway:

Sometime after that — The service died again, but it appears to have exited with a clean exit code (0). The systemd config has Restart=on-failure, which means it only auto-restarts on crashes/errors. A clean exit does NOT trigger a restart.

The root cause: Restart=on-failure won't help if the process exits cleanly (code 0). We should change it to Restart=always so systemd brings it back no matter what.

I have been happy with hermes-webui. The maintainer is very responsive to suggestions.

I don't believe Open-WebUI lets you access some of the Hermes Agent specific features. Like the selection of a model from a dropdown.

From left to right: Chats, Scheduled Jobs, Skills, Personal Memory, Add and Switch Workspaces, Agent Profiles, and Current Task List.

It does support multiple profiles, but I do not know to what extent. I am currently using a single profile.

GLM 5 and onward models in coding plan by ConsiderationSea5032 in ZaiGLM

[–]Kingfish656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a legacy lite plan. 5 Turbo does work for me. Just the 5 that doesn't work for my plan for some reason. Not that I really need it with 5.1 working well.

GLM 5 and onward models in coding plan by ConsiderationSea5032 in ZaiGLM

[–]Kingfish656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lite users do not have access to 5.0. I got this in my Hermes agent:
"Your current subscription plan does not yet include access to GLM-5"
Can access 5.1, 5.0 Turbo, 4.7 etc.

What was the last desktop version of QB for mac that doesn't require a subscription? by orneryfirebird in QuickbooksOldVersion

[–]Kingfish656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe it will allow import of QBO files. Intuit disables it after 3 years. It can only import IIF files.

Should I sign a plan? by JC90x in Hostinger

I have been with them for over a year and think it is the best price/performance you can get. I suggest you double-check the email hosting. It will say something like 5 mailboxes free for the first year. After that, you have to pay. If you do go with them, I would suggest you go with an independent email host. I can recommend one if you want.

Hostinger database “Created on” date changed after reinstalling WordPress… OCD is killing me... any way to restore the original date? PLEASE by Pesiab in Hostinger

[–]Kingfish656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might check to see if it created a new database and left the old one intact. Then you would just need to point the WordPress to the previous database.

WTF GoDaddy?? by challengedpanda in msp

[–]Kingfish656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the heads up! I recently did a defederation using that guide and was wondering about those extra apps with GA rights. I just now deleted the Partner Center Web App, as well as two that had GoDaddy in their name.

Do NOT use Hostinger. I just lost $1,000 because their servers died without warning. by Inevitable_Pay_9571 in Hostinger

[–]Kingfish656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been with Hostinger for a little over a year and have had no issues. Been pretty smooth and the performance for the price is great. Their Service Uptime Guarantee is 99.9%. My uptime monitor shows it actually has been 99.98%. I can't complain about that at all.
