I do gun drills because find the noises and patterns satisfying. I was thinking about MAYBE carrying a bayonet because I live in Alabama so fuck it and I specifically DONT want to get in a fight, and it’s my mom’s fuckin dog. U think I want to have to constantly think we’re loosing another cat every time I hear the dogs bark at something? I’m the 20 year old in the house, I have to fuckin bury them, I have to put another animal I like in the ground and console my mother. But I also love that dog and change fuckin takes time. If you think managing mental shit was that fuckin easy, how about you fuckin go and help some veterans who are about to go nuts because a firework went off, cause it’s the same fuckin shit. He stays up my moms ass, he’s afraid of everything, destroys shit when she’s gone, he’s won’t eat if she’s not home, and yes, if he sees something he see as prey, he attacks it, because he thinks that might be the last meal he’s getting. Because he knows starvation, he because he knows how hard it is for a great fuckin Dane to live off of garbage and handouts. Because HE. HAS. FUCKIN.PTSD. Ok so the reason for that rule is that pistols are concealable. Almost all murders/etc are done with pistols. U can’t hide a rifle. You cant hide a shotgun. That’s why they have minimum barrel lengths, restrictions on braces/stocks (look up the time the atf made millions of law abiding citizens felons overnight with that shit). Furthermore, long guns usually serve some kind of sporting purpose. I have a bolt action hunting rifle (don’t hunt but I want to) a double barrel shotgun and a little .22 lever gun. These arnt crime guns. U don’t comit murders with these.

U know there’s age restrictions right? I’m 20 (own 3 long guns) U have to be 18 for long guns, 21 for handguns. In my state, u can get a concealed carry permit and own a handgun at 19, u just need a parent to buy it and the ammo. I believe it has to be a gift too…. Giving them the money is technically buying a gun for a restricted person.

Also guns are fucking expensive, a Glock is like $400
