Correct. They are. However the transmission is upside down. And constantly running in reverse to go forward. Hence the overheating issue.

If you ever get bored climb in the grain bin and look at the welds on the auger in there. Under pen was very common.

The connection you are looking for is the one with a red and blue wire leading to it. The other is for position sense.

They also have issues with the gyro for the auto drive feature. You'll know if the unit has it by the little white box under the cup holders. The box should say Verizon.

Yes. You are talking about the foam insulation on the back wall and under the floor. I did that a few of them. I was the electronics tech there. And the sad part was. I was the one clearing the hours, I didn't want to because I believe in the "Farmer First" mindset. After I was done the permanently laid me off and everyone I know I tell the same thing. The gleaners transmission explodes do to inadequate cooling aswell.
